SYSTEM
Having the right equipment is a critical component of a successful work from home agent. We have put this policy together to help ensure that our agents are set up to effectively service any one of the great client programs in our roster.
PC
CPU:
Speed: Dual-core 2.8 GHz or better or Intel i class or AMD Phenom X2 class or better Atom, Celeron, Pentium and Opteron processors are permitted
Memory:
- 4 GB of RAM or better
- Hard Drive: 20 GB or more of available space 60 GB or more of total space
Operating System:
Windows 7 or Windows 10
Standard Connection and Speed:
- Hard-wired connection (no wireless) Minimum 10.0 mbps download Minimum 3.0 mbps upload
Minimum Latency Threshold:
120 milliseconds (ms) 1280 x 1024 (SXGA) screen resolution 1920 x 1080 (Full HD or 1080P)
Monitors:
Dual Monitors may be required on some client programs Dual monitors are not supported on programs that use the Arise Secure Desktom, Celeron, Pentium and Opteron processors are permitted
Equipment Requirements
Each of the below accessories are required:
1. USB headset with microphone (required for Certification) Logitech, Plantronics, Microsoft, or similar brands recommended.
2. Hard-wired Telephone and headset with microphone (required for Production) VOIP (Voice over internet protocol) are acceptable by most clients and are cheaper to use. Please check Initial Offering in the Portal to make sure.
3. Any phone line whether VOIP or Land line must be Stripped or a POTS line no features whatsoever. Plantronics M22 Amplifier or similar recommended connected to a Vtech phone.
Software
1. Internet Explorer 8.0 or 11 or Edge on Windows 7, 8 and 10 Mozilla (Firefox 14 to 42) both Windows **Please note that Google Chrome Browsers are not compatible with the Arise platform.
2. Microsoft Security Essentials for Windows Other security software may be incompatible and should be avoided. Technical support may be refused if our company’s software configuration is not compatible with the Arise platform or is determined to cause incompatibilities with client required servicing software. Note: Your Independent Business is responsible for maintaining the security and reliability of its equipment. The following items are considered security risks to the Arise platform and, upon detection, may subject your company to the suspension or termination of its MSA or SOW: • Malware infected software • Virtualized Operating Systems (ie: VMWare, Parallels, etc.) • Non-Arise provided VPN software or Proxy settings • TOR or other privacy software
3. Please note that Client programs may have additional or increased system requirements. Please refer to the opportunity announcement for additional information
